Great article. Confusing at times too. I understand Bunten changed genders, but whenever they quote someone the responder says he even though the article says she. I doubt you could account for this inconsistancy any other way though, and Salon just made the best of it and went ahead. I'm glad they did, because this is a story that definitely should have been done sooner (and I'm glad they pointed out that Newsweek completely glossed over her contributions to MPG's).

Terrific article. A lot of details I never knew. One correction - Seven Cities of Gold was definitely not 1987. IIRC, it was 1983 or 1984 for the Atari.
