phuzzed #1 Posted March 19, 2003 Is the ATari 5200 Field Service Manual Online anywhere? If not, would anybody recommend this manual? How useful is it?
+Mitch #2 Posted March 19, 2003 Is the ATari 5200 Field Service Manual Online anywhere? If not, would anybody recommend this manual? How useful is it? I don't believe it is online anywhere. As for usefulness, I guess it depends if you are going to be repairing 5200s or not. If you're not then it's not of much use. Mitch
phuzzed #3 Posted March 19, 2003 Well, I have a few 5200 systems around my place that are just dead. I may go ahead an order the Field Service Manual from Best. Besides, it may be kind of interesting to look at!
sku_u #4 Posted March 19, 2003 If you do a search, you can find one for sale @ around $30. I bought one not too long ago. My copy was purchased because I have almost everything there is to have for the 5200 excluding prototypes and a few obscure accessories and wanted it for my collection + I can work on the 15 or so dead/decaying 5200s I have in storage. A.J. Franzman #5 Posted August 26, 2005 (edited) (Apologies in advance for dredging up old thread.) According to Classic Gaming Enthusiasts of Canada Links Page, the 5200 FSM apparently was online at http://huitzilo.tezcat.com/~snapsnar/repair/5200/index.html. Did anyone happen to save a copy of it while it was available? The Internet Archive: Wayback Machine appears not to have it. Alternatively, has it been placed online elsewhere in the 2+ years since this thread was started? Edited August 26, 2005 by A.J. Franzman

as_the_gavel_falls #9 Posted September 9, 2005 Google suddenly hates my site. They refuse to tell me why. I think it's because I turned down their job offer
