SOLD: LHE Modded S-Video 4 Switch 2600 with Pause Mod

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have a 4 switch 2600 for sale with an LHE 2.2G s-video board built by myself installed as well as a pause circuit built/sold by AA installed. Also has an amber power LED next to the power switch as an added touch. Been casually trying to get rid of this on ebay without much luck so I figured I'd offer it here.

All of the work has been done professionally by myself aside from the pause kit, which came assembled. The pause function is activated via a pushbutton on the bottom left of the console. The system is fully working and ready to provide years of enjoyment.

I'd like to have $75 for just the console, $80 for console and s-video/audio cables, or $100 for system, cables, 2 Flashback 2 controllers, OEM PSU, and cleaned/tested OEM paddles. Prices are firm and I'm not really looking for trades atm. Price does not include shipping from 45245.

Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I think I've done 3 of these now. One for myself, one for future parents in law, and did this one for a friend but the deal fell through. IIRC, I have around $20 in the system deck, I think the pause kit was $25 shipped from AA, and another $20 in the unassembled LHE kit. Basically just trying to make a couple bucks out of the couple hours I spent doing the work. I've done some other interesting stuff lately such as putting an Atari Punk Console inside of a 2600 paddle as well as adapting some NES controllers into 2600/7800 controllers. Also converted a couple NES controllers to be plugged directly into Wiimotes for Virtual Console stuff. Don't want to sell any NES 7800 pads on here because that market is pretty well covered and hesitated putting the 2600 up because video modded systems seemed to be keilbaca's bag for the longest time. That being said, I'm at my happiest when I'm at the bench with a soldering iron in my hand. I've been spending most of my free time building and repairing shortwave and ham radios lately since I'm no longer really in the collecting game. If I thought the demand was great enough, I'd do some s-video mods and region switches to some Genny 1s and sell them but I don't think I could turn a profit doing it.

Going to give this a final bump to see if anyone bites. If not, I'll have a spare s-video 2600.

This is a very good price on something like this. If someone is new to the scene, you could buy this and have your 2600 hardware needs taken care of quickly.

I think I know the answer to this, but tell the fine folks at home - Is the only video out option S-Video? If someone doesn't have S-Video, can they adapt back to composite?

Yes it can be dumbed down with a simple adapter.

No, it has composite as well as s-video. The s-video, composite (black RCA), and audio connectors were originally part of the wiring harness from an 8bitdomain s-video kit that I recycled. So yeah, this dog is ready to hunt.

Had a deal going on this that fell through so back to the top. If anyone wants it, shoot a price that we both can agree on and it's yours.
