ceejay1234 #1 Posted August 4, 2014 I have come across a brand new Atari 2600 in my warehouse and wondered if it was of interest to anyone? Box is a bit worn from storage but all is brand new, never used.
Rybags #2 Posted August 4, 2014 That's pretty fresh looking although the box lets it down a lot. But... a system that's never been used like this should fetch a nice price.
high voltage #3 Posted August 4, 2014 a UK PAL I version, pretty neat condition.
AtariBuff #4 Posted August 4, 2014 Interested. Please drop me a PM with your price in mind.
7800 #5 Posted August 4, 2014 I wouldn't call it "Brand" new... maybe NOS, but not "Brand" new.
+Gemintronic #6 Posted August 4, 2014 I wouldn't call it "Brand" new... maybe NOS, but not "Brand" new. Yeah. I came into this thread hoping it was a new 2600 board like the Coleco enthusiasts keep threatening to make
ceejay1234 #7 Posted August 4, 2014 what does NOS mean? To verify, it has never been used, all original packaging.
ceejay1234 #8 Posted August 4, 2014 Apologies if i mislead anyone!
7800 #9 Posted August 4, 2014 NOS means "new old stock". Brand new is normally used to describe something recently manufactured.
+Gemintronic #10 Posted August 4, 2014 what does NOS mean? To verify, it has never been used, all original packaging. New Old Stock. Basically as you described. Never used. never taken out of stock. just dirt old

ceejay1234 #15 Posted August 4, 2014 No Tv Switch Box, but comes with paddle controllers and i also have Keyboard controllers that have never been used.
Craig Schultz #16 Posted August 4, 2014 That's worth a fair bit.
Shawn #17 Posted August 8, 2014 I don't recall the 2600 coming in bubble wrap. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Shawn #18 Posted August 8, 2014 Also, is that dust I see on the inside of the cart port?
AtariBrian #19 Posted August 8, 2014 Looks like just a bit of minor damage or something on the switch faceplate ... just saying .
Cobra Commander #20 Posted August 8, 2014 A box in that shape would not add any value IMHO. I would pay $50 - $70 if it's minty fresh.
tjlazer #21 Posted August 8, 2014 NOS is not an Atari thing. Applies to everything. lol

That is an odd Sunnyvale Light 6'er.The joysticks look like CX10's because they do not say "top", but one looks odd because it has a flat rectangle in the texture of the top. I never saw that before. Also the gray 1970's power supply is nice. As to the original post, I do not see any wear or dust...
Hogie155 #25 Posted January 16, 2015 Yeah pretty much any sunnyvale Light sixer is weird. Didn't think they made any Light sixers in Sunnyvale . Didn't production go over seas at the beginning of the Heavy sixers. Anyway i'm happy so i guess thats what counts. lol
