DaytonaUSA #1 Posted August 6, 2014 First come, first served. Below is a code for Animal Crossing on the 3DS. If you want the points, it's yours. I can't register it as I've registered the same game (different copy) in the past. MCT-DV4W-PWJL-4RC

Jess Ragan #5 Posted August 6, 2014 I thought about redeeming this code, but realized that I'd never play the game, and that it would be selfish if I did use it. Hopefully the owner will get some use out of the game.
Austin #6 Posted August 6, 2014 I thought about redeeming this code, but realized that I'd never play the game, and that it would be selfish if I did use it. Hopefully the owner will get some use out of the game. It wasn't a code for the game, just the Club Nintendo registration (i.e., Club Nintendo coins and a survey to fill out). Mendon #7 Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) Daytona... I ran into a similar situation when I purchased a 2nd Wii U: Nintendo wouldn't let me register it since I already had a Wii U registered to my account. So I made my account a family account instead of individual, set up my wife as an additional user under the family account, and registered the Wii U under her name. Result: the 160 coins were added to my account. I did the same thing with Lego City: I had registered it, then lost the game somehow so I bought it again very cheaply at a flea market. Nintendo wouldn't let me register the 2nd copy since I had already registered one copy. So I logged in under the account I made for my wife, registered it, and voila: the coins were again added to my account. You can make multiple users with the "family" account and register games under any of the names. Edited August 6, 2014 by Mendon
Jess Ragan #8 Posted August 6, 2014 It wasn't a code for the game, just the Club Nintendo registration (i.e., Club Nintendo coins and a survey to fill out). Oh! Nevertheless, I've got plenty of Nintendo coins that I haven't used, and don't want to fill out a survey for a game I haven't played.
dackknight #9 Posted August 6, 2014 i've played animal crossing on gamecube before, isn't it similar to that, aren't you still mayor and trying to expand your town? im sure theres tons on new features but i think i will be some what aaccurate when filling out the survey. (^_^' ) alot people seem to not want to fill out surveys, its not that hards takes maybe 3 minutes or less, the only real problem i run into is going over the word count limit sometimes lol (^_^; )i mean if its a fun game you enjoyed don't talk about it anyways and tell your friends what you like and dont like, well the survey is you chance to tell nintendo your thoughts about it. so i try to give it my all on surveys (+_+)
DaytonaUSA #10 Posted August 7, 2014 thank you very much m(_ _)m (\(^_^)/) m(_ _)m (\(^_^)/) m(_ _)m (\(^_^)/) your code helped me reach gold status (^_^)b You're welcome . I'm glad it made someone so happy . It wasn't a code for the game, just the Club Nintendo registration (i.e., Club Nintendo coins and a survey to fill out). Bingo. Daytona... Can you change the account to family though after it's been a single user account for a few years? Mine has been active.. oh let's see... since I believe the beginning of the DS days. Either way, it's not like I "need" it. I have more points than I know what to do with anyway. Call me silly, but I just refuse to waste coins on games that while I like, are on the Wii side for the Wii U, and not the Wii U's VC. I just... don't ever want to go into that mode, frankly. It's horribly inconvenient, and I honestly like the U's controllers better .

Game mechanics are different, though. They've been upgraded, which makes the game easier to play and collect items faster (including paying off homes). Also, there are more areas to explore. In the 3DS game, you have an island where you can do mini games, fish, and get tropical fruit, along with "beach" items like wetsuits and the like. I have been a Club Nintendo member for years and changed my membership to family just last year. I haven't used any coins to buy items in quite some time because, frankly, there is only like 5 items listed for purchase and I'm not interested in them. I have been hoping that the Luigi statue would return but I guess its gone forever. Edited August 7, 2014 by Mendon
Unbeliever #14 Posted August 11, 2014 I've been playing this version of Animal Crossing since December and find it very enjoyable...a nice addition to the franchise. Many more features were added to make the game have more staying power, IMO. I have a tendency to see what's going on every day in game and do my usual "chores", just like in the previous versions. DaytonaUSA #15 Posted August 11, 2014 If you like this game, try out Tomodachi Life. It has its flaws, for sure, such as not really being able to control the actions of anyone. But it's actually quite a bit of fun, reminds me of Animal Crossing in many ways, and is a very addicting time waster like Animal Crossing.
Unbeliever #16 Posted August 12, 2014 Yup...got that one too. I couldn't pass up the chance to add it to my collection.. Thanks for the advice, though.
