IntellivisionDude #1 Posted August 9, 2014 It all started with a witty reply. I told my friend Kefka to join AA and introduce himself. All i did was come up with a funny but cool reply and it snowballed from there. Even though i like to take credit for starting it, it was really Rev and Pimpmaul who did the most with it. Pimpmaul made the brotherhood logo's which are so epic. And we all know what Rev has done. Buttons, Websites, Bea Arthur, Cmart.... Here it is. This is historical and should be preserved for many generations to come. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/191282-hello-from-lexington-ky/

+cmart604 #4 Posted August 10, 2014 Lol! I can offer some further insight as to how the first Brotherhood came about on the CV, and it was my fault. J-F had sent out a group email to about eight of us in an effort to pool funds and coordinate efforts to acquire a purple boxed proto CV. I came up with the term the Brotherhood of the Purple CV box or something to that effect and the next thing you know, we were adding it to our signatures. Very soon after that other "Brotherhoods" popped up on the site, including the Inty one as we know it today. At times I feel responsible for what I unwittingly unleashed.....

IntellivisionDude #6 Posted August 10, 2014 There is a chance someone could of mentioned an INTV Brotherhood before i made that comment, but i have no memory of that. I could of been inspired. Can no longer remember if i came up with that comment on my own or not. But what is for sure it is the first mention of it in this forum.

pimpmaul69 #8 Posted August 10, 2014 Intellinerds?dont you act all high and mighty! yes i am here rev. Glad to know you were still thinking of me. Yes the dude, rev and i (then of course voltron and a few others) created a gaming brotherhood unlike any other. The intv forum of atariage has shown an alliance like no other. This is probably the most unique forum ever. We first of all have to thank rev. If he wasnt the lonely intv lover that kept bugging for an intv section we might not have this wonderful forum that we can talk trash to and help our brothers out. And a note to people out there, i am no longer doing any repairs. My disability makes it hard for me to do much work these days. But thank you to everyone out there who supported me.

So far, the membership roster includes: 1.) me 2.) shat (though, I don't think he is aware of it) 3.) hello kitty Send me a PM if you want to apply for membership….but, I must warn you…the induction ceremony is brutal!!!
pimpmaul69 #13 Posted August 10, 2014 I was never invited, nor formally inducted into any of the brotherhoods. So, rather than feel bad about it, I decided to make my own society… all you had to do was add the "member of the intv brotherhood" to your signature and contact rev for your swag. This is a self invite membership (of course after you pay your $500 club fees )
