Sounds like just the nature of free bid auctions. If nobody's really looking for it and you don't tell anyone you have it up for auction, you won't get a lot of bids.

This... I've sold stuff before (not atari stuff) where several recent auctions have ended at 5x what I got selling my product, with similar descriptions, better photos, better condition item. *shakes head*
