I acually have 2 copy's of Doom & Super burnout, but that's because they were bundled with Defender 2000. So I'm goin to sell those to recoup a bit of money.

I don't have Karts but I plan on picking it up soon. The general consensus is that it's not that great a game but can be appreciated on its own merits. Also as Atari's lone Kart Clone game it is interesting from a collectors standpoint.

It's expensive enough that I think you would get more utility out of a Jag CD before trying to track down some of the more pricey carts.. The good CD titles are cheap and the homebrews are plentiful and fun.

Regarding the color.. Someone out there has made it work... :)

Raiden is a fantastic game on the Jaguar; it's one of my personal favorites. Pitfall and Soccer Kid are very solid platformers with good animation and color. Wolf 3D is an excellent, full-featured FPS (possibly the best console port ever of the game?). And you've already got Protector SE which of course I have to recommend. ;) Total Carnage is a lot of fun but also gets crazy very quickly, just like the arcade version. Zero 5 is an extremely good showcase of the Jag's 3D polygon capabilities and is fun but hard on some levels.

Thanks for that, regarding the add on cd for Protector se , are you ever goin to do a stand alone cart version ? I will be getting the cd add on, but they are very expensive new. Telegames want £500, Best offer a great price, but delivery to uk gets hammered by customs...

So I'll be missing out for a while on the add on 😟

Well, since Resurgence is an expansion, I'd have to bundle it with Protector SE, and the two won't fit on the existing 2MB cart, so I'd have to move up to a 4MB cart. I don't have any plans to do that right now. I'm not opposed to the idea, but I'd want to do more than just put Prot SE + Resurgence on a cart with nothing else. Because that's a lot of wasted space in 4MB... :)

Totally understand that, I'm sure there's loads of jag owners who would purchase a chart version mind 😜

Sure it'll be more expensive but I'd buy a cart version no problem ..

Can I ask are them more different music tracks ? That's the only thing that let's ProSE down I'm my opinion..

Alright Stephen.

Your collection is pretty much absolutely spot on mate. Even more so now you're adding both Ultra Vortek and Power Drive Rally! (The latter being one of T H E best titles for Jag).

As has already been suggested, you really need Wolfenstein 3D too. It's the best version of that game ever released!

If I had to give you some further high-quality suggestions, I would suggest looking at:

Iron Soldier (another top 10 title for Jag!)

Missile Command 3D

Flashback

All 3 as definites.

-

Also worth checking out thereafter, imo:

Zero 5

Cybermorph

I-War

Iron Soldier 2

Pinball Fantasies

Zool 2

Raiden

-

And, further down the line, potentially:

Val D'Isere

Skyhammer

Hoverstrike

-

Any carts I haven't mentioned is usually with good reason. Just trying to keep your collection concise and decent, eh? :)

Protector Trio.

The original Protector + Protector SE and Resurgence, all in a clear cartridge shell :)

Wow .. Pro controller... There like gold dust

I know, I want to get a second pro controller but people are asking WAY to much for them. I only paid about $60 for mine. But like I tell people, don't rush, you'll get a deal soon enough.

Great start to your collection there. ;-) The white Jaguar looks cool, it'd still be cool with a dark gray Jagcd on top - two tone!. lol I do like the white Jagcd combo tho -that's a really good paint job looks like. :)

Thanks for the input, I try to only buy the best games which I know I'll play to death....

Was getting atari karts, but that one can wait as I don't believe paying over the odds for a game that asnt even been given good reviews...

The others you mention I will checkout, thanks.

How about Protector Gold!

It could come with

Protector

Protector SE

Protector Resurgence

Bonus Features (all the soundtrack, playable, with a VLM, etc)

I would totally buy that.
