san-d-2000 #1 Posted September 2, 2014 I have been thinking on buying one of these boards http://codehackcreate.com/store#!/~/product/category=0&id=14022176 so my question is do i need to buy additional plugs to get the audio to work, and is there a guide how to install online? Tempest #2 Posted September 2, 2014 Matt (the creator of the board) mounted an audio jack into the back of my ADAM. I'm guessing he tapped the audio lines from the video port. In the case of the Colecovision you'd have to do something similar but from the board itself.
Rey #3 Posted September 2, 2014 I would gladly help but I did this on my ADAM. I know parkfun101 did this on his coleco, maybe he can help you. In the meantime I'll see if I can find any pics that may help.

Rey #5 Posted September 2, 2014 This is when I did it to my ADAM. I will say you won't regret this move. Video quality is beautiful using the F18A on my ASUS monitor. Gorgeous! http://atariage.com/forums/topic/202406-f18a-adam-adpater-and-case-mod/?p=2994307

Tempest #7 Posted September 2, 2014 That first set up pictures is from my Adam. I was the guinea pig since I was close by and had a lot of different systems to test it with.
chart45 #8 Posted September 2, 2014 take the sound from the c88 cap if you take it from the audio chip you will get low volume when using the sgm

Yes, you need to buy / add a 3.5mm audio jack in the back - audio from C88 I have good write up / install if you search for vga in Colecovision forum I would also buy a IDC10 and crimpers to shorten the ribbon wire Make db15 hole big enough so that the 15pin VGA male cable can fit when its plugged in Highly recommended upgrade Edited September 2, 2014 by grips03
