F18A Question

Recommended Posts

Matt (the creator of the board) mounted an audio jack into the back of my ADAM. I'm guessing he tapped the audio lines from the video port. In the case of the Colecovision you'd have to do something similar but from the board itself.

I would gladly help but I did this on my ADAM. I know parkfun101 did this on his coleco, maybe he can help you. In the meantime I'll see if I can find any pics that may help.

That first set up pictures is from my Adam. I was the guinea pig since I was close by and had a lot of different systems to test it with.

I have been thinking on buying one of these boards http://codehackcreate.com/store#!/~/product/category=0&id=14022176

so my question is do i need to buy additional plugs to get the audio to work, and is there a guide how to install online?

Yes, you need to buy / add a 3.5mm audio jack in the back - audio from C88

I have good write up / install if you search for vga in Colecovision forum

I would also buy a IDC10 and crimpers to shorten the ribbon wire

Make db15 hole big enough so that the 15pin VGA male cable can fit when its plugged in

Highly recommended upgrade
