+atari2600land
I got a copy of Power Golf from NEC Canada. The manual is in nothing but French. No English anywhere. Did NEC not know that some people speak English in Canada? The game works OK in my TG16, but I was just wondering why they felt the need to make separate US and Canada releases. Or was Power Golf not released in the US?
Necron99
most likely there was both english and french manuals. I can't be sure of TG16 titles, but PS1/PS2/Xbox etc all had a bilingual manual and sleeve shrinkwrapped over an US copy.
jhd
I even have an early Atari 2600 cartridge (Maze Craze) like this -- the English manual is missing; only the French version remained in the box when I got it. TG-16 Games were sold here through Radio Shack for a few years, but I do not recall if there was bilingual packaging. I never owned one. goldenegg
The games came with manuals in both languages. Sounds like the English manual for your copy of Power Golf got lost throughout the years.
