SuperMuppet #1 Posted September 13, 2014 I've had a problem with one certain game on my Altirra64 emulator lately...for some reason, the Atari XE version of Mario Bros. never loads properly, even on the XE hardware setting. It will either display Mario in front of a glitchy background or just a pink screen. And unlike my other Atari computer game roms which are .bin files, this is a .rom file. This one runs perfectly: Mario Bros. (1988).bin

+Trebor #4 Posted September 13, 2014 Hardware --> XEGS File --> Attached cartridge --> Select image. Starts right up. If it still doesn't work, try a fresh installation of Altirra v2.50 into a new folder. FYI...you can rename bin <-> rom with these files. Makes no difference. I have both a mix of *.bin & *.rom files for Atari 8-bit cartridge images. They all work fine.
SuperMuppet #5 Posted September 13, 2014 I now see why the game wouldn't load. I was using a 16k memory size instead of a larger one.
