+Trebor #2 Posted September 21, 2014 This perhaps can help - though it's specific to the 'vanilla' NES controller, much may still apply: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQbokBHvQXA Honestly, I have it. An improvement over the original Pro Lines - absolutely. However, there are better options for joysticks. The Radica Space Invaders joystick is a better joystick, IMHO. The upcoming Arcade joysticks being built and mentioned in this thread and this one - will be even better joysticks than the aforementioned ones. The NES Advantage joystick always has a 'hybrid' feel to me - not fully analog feeling and not fully digital feeling either. Sort of how I would imagine a 5200 joystick should have been like, whereas the former feels slightly more digital and the latter would have felt slightly more analog (Still self-centering though ). gambler172 #3 Posted September 21, 2014 Hi Trebor unfortunately this is the modding of an NES Gamepad....i mean this bigh NES ADVANTAGE..... +Trebor #4 Posted September 21, 2014 Wish I could be of more help, Walter. As I mentioned just prior to the video post, "much may still apply". I could not tell you 100% definitely. I purchased mine a few years back and did not make it myself. Ax used to do them - he hasn't been around in quite some time. However, according to this you may be able to reach out to the poster for more info.
Shawn #5 Posted September 21, 2014 Walter you would have to totally re-wire the whole joystick and remove any of the population from the advantage's pcb to make it work with the 7800. The video linked above shows the method you would need to use to convert it to atari as the pinouts are the same.
