XBOX to MAME!

Got a couple of extra XBOXs and want to put MAME on them...where do I go for info?

Since you don't specify original XBox vs 360 I'm going assume the original and point you at this. I've put it on two so far (stuck them in JAMMA cabinets with connectors from Ultimarc)

Google Softmodding an XBOX. Its extremely easy to do.

 

Once its softmodded you have a lot of options. You can use one of the game collections than install on stock drives, or run something off a discl.

 

~ or ~ you can swap in a bigger IDE hard drive and install one of the Coin-Ops collections. 3,000+ games with a super nice menu, etc.
