VectorGamer #1 Posted October 3, 2014 Title - gaming only stuff - not interested in your wish for fuzzy bunny slippers. The only thing I have on my Xmas wish list this year is a working Sega Saturn console with controllers, light guns, Daytona USA and Area 51. Will follow-up on this thread with a "So What Did You Get For Xmas" thread. Time's yours...
Reaperman #2 Posted October 3, 2014 (edited) Dear Mrs. Santa. I'd like a Sega Naomi driving cabinet. 355 challenge would be ideal, but an Initial D would be okay. Failing that, I think I'd settle for a San Francisco Rush 2049. I only need a single unit, because I know I'll never get you to race against me. Also santa, perhaps you could tell your side of the family to stop buying me wallets and bottles of Dior's Fahrenheit--of which I have several lifetime supplies. Perhaps a trip to a game reproduction site for that Metroid Super Zero Mission SNES hack. Or maybe Vector Pilot for vectrex. Gift cards for Roberts Space Industries, or hell, Atariage.com might be useful. Realistically I know I won't get any of these things. I'll probably get some overpriced 'as seen on tv' cooking product again. Here's a better idea--how about those ebay gift cards I keep asking for so I can just shop for my damn self, because nobody seems to know where real video games can be purchased. someone3760 #3 Posted October 3, 2014 I dont know, probably either a sega genesis, ps2, or wii u. Maybe some computer parts.

NightSprinter #7 Posted October 9, 2014 Wanting the 32GB Shield Tablet, along with a Supergun and a nicer capture card that can handle input from arcade games like R-Type.
Rhomaios #8 Posted October 9, 2014 A PSP would be nice for Christmas. Maybe some added beef for my Colecovision or PC Engine collections. If we're really stretching the imagination, an XM and a SGM would be just swell.
BigO #9 Posted October 9, 2014 Does "time to finish writing a game I'm working on" count as a Christmas wish?
telengard #10 Posted October 9, 2014 Does "time to finish writing a game I'm working on" count as a Christmas wish? That's probably a little more feasible then my wish of a time machine. I'm hoping for the Intellivision and ColecoVision flashbacks.
chuckwalla #11 Posted October 10, 2014 Possibly a ColecoVision Flashback and an A/V modded Atari 7800 from Best Electronics. I don't have much room for a bunch more systems and even I'M beginning to think I'm a hoarder!
Crazy Climber #12 Posted October 10, 2014 Ah, thats easy... Stunt Cycle (atari2600.com) Pressure Gauge (packrat) boxed version Candy Catcher Boulder Dash (atariage) 3D Rubiks Cube (atariage) Bugs Bunny (atari2600.com) Extra Terrestrials (cardboard box release) Bouncing Baby Bunnies (Wonder007) Thrust+ (Cardboard box release, not the foot pedal one, the atariage one) Red Sea Crossing (boxed version) Rush Hour (Sean Kelly) Looping (Sean Kelly) Mental Kombat (Cardboard box release, limited edition) Wolfenstein (packrat) boxed version Skeleton (boxed release, philly classic?) Last Ninja and N.E.R.D.S. (These are still available from atari2600.com for $20 new but I no longer purchase from JC so if you want to sell me your copies at the same price I will buy them) Elevator Action (Sean Kelly - prefer it to be tested/working but would still buy a dead one at a reduced price) Combat II Turbo (atariage) Ebivision titles (all the cardboard box releases, wonder bought mine years ago, I want them back but he's not selling, lol)
BigO #13 Posted October 10, 2014 I like how Crazy Climber tells us where to get the stuff on his list just in case we decide to buy it for him. Aside: I'd be happier with Stunt Cycle if you had to return the "throttle" back to idle before you could start the next jump. As it is, you can sorta cheat by just advancing the throttle from the previous jump's throttle position. It's been over 30 years since I played the home console, but I remember it starting by throttle twist not by pressing a button. I remember it having a spring loaded throttle, too. We had a lot of fun playing that back in the simpler days of my life.

EricBall #15 Posted November 6, 2014 Skeleton (boxed release, philly classic?) I don't believe Skeleton(+) was ever released with a box. Of course, as the original Skeleton is no longer available, it's collectable along with the original release of Skeleton+ with the You Win glitch. And there's the ultra-rare Hozer Video release of Skeleton complete with unique label artwork.

I have seen it...the box was brown, thats all I remember but I am 100% certain it exists Hozer games are not rare, lol *EDIT - The same guy that was selling it also had an Ebivision Pac man CIB. Wonder purchased the Ebivision Pac from him, if he remembers they guys name (was on Ebay) I can contact him to see where the heck that boxed Skeleton came from. This was a long time ago though so I'm not holding my breath on an answer, lol I'm still mad I got outbid though, grrrrr, I knew I would never see another, lol Edited November 7, 2014 by Crazy Climber

So is the boxed one I saw unauthorized? If thats the case I will remove it from my wanted list Well, the sad news is Hozer will make anything for anyone who asks him if he has permission to or not.
