Buying homebrews roms?

Recommended Posts

I bought an Atarimax cartridge recently and I was interested in buying homebrew roms game. Is there such a possibility? I'm not into collecting cartridges if I don't need to. I'm also not into pirating homebrews either.

I think the roms for princess quest and flora are available for sale. There are several others that are available for free. The collectorvision member section has some. Team pixelboy has posted some to atariage if you search around. There are many others scattered around the internet if you search.

yeah go to collectorvision and sign up and you will see free ones on the site. Nobody really has sold roms except the mentioned games above. After a long time and sales are done then they usually put the rom out there for free. There are some free ones from opcode as well in his threads.

the colecovision scene is not like the other scenes where a lot of people are selling roms and carts of games. The colecovision scene is usually CIB games and then after a while the rom is put out there.

I see... I am fairly new to the 2014 coleco crowd. My parents had bought a Coleco back in 1983 but the console was disposed of.

Not proud of this at all.

I just recently bought another one. I am so amazed to see the interest and dedication on this console. It is quite pleasant and heartwarming to see.

You'll have to do some searching for all the released rom image files by Team Pixelboy and Opcode Games here in this forum, but you should also checkout all the links provided in the CV & ADAM Information pinned thread.
