The Concerto will be ready soon! A run of boards is on the way. While these boards are on the way to me, I am wrapping up some things in firmware. It will be available in limited numbers at first, so that I can manage the release and don't have a large backlog.

Concertino isn't ready yet, as development on it has been put on hold until the release of Concerto, so I have time to focus on it.

O nice, really good to see a 7800 cart may be available for homebrew etc.

Really want to get my hands on one when they become available. Sounds awesome!

Awesome news!!, I will definitelly buy one Concerto as soon as it goes on sale. I have two questions:

Will the Concerto work with 7800 PAL consoles?

and

Is there an official Concerto webpage like the Harmony one?

Thanks for the hard work!

I think I am correct in saying
1- Yes

2- No

Holding out for Retro HQ's solution.

Your choice to hold out, but if you want to buy both, I can at least say that Concerto's pricing will be very reasonable. Concerto will debut at $99, and Concertino will be $59.

That was definitely great news for us Muddy ?

I meant the addressing (rather than being located at 4000), happy to source my own Pokey. Be good to know if it works with Pokeyone or those type of alternatives.

I picked up a cheap Ballblazer cart a few months just in case ?

Not sure the Concerto will come with onboard pokey already will it @batari?

Not yet. Work continues on HOKEY, but this will not be ready before the first runs of Concerto.

I do have a prototype Concerto with an onboard HOKEY, so down the road, yes, this will be a possibility.

I've been watching for one at a reasonable price, "just in case" :)

An Aussie guy on a FB page I follow posted up a range of carts - I think I paid about $20-$25 delivered which is a bargain here!!

I think Commando also had a pokey ?

Yeah, but COMMANDO was already much less common and therefore more expensive before people started buying up BALLBLAZERs en masse a few years ago.

As for me, I've got a spare POKEY set aside specifically for a Concerto cart, when and if. :)
