Arcade Machine Measurements

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I got someone with experience with woodwork that is going to help me build a machine, I currently own a SF II Champion Edition machine and would like to build a similar one.

Any sites that offer accurate measurements and tells you what you need?

I want to build the frame but use one of those already build arcade controllers, I figure it would be easier.

Thanks,

Yan

Man, if you want a similar cab, here's my advice

Lay down your actual Street Fighter cabinet on its side .... on a 4x8 sheet

Trace the contour of your cabinet . then use a jigsaw to make the cut

Then, take your (cutted) Side of your new cabinet, then lay it down on a new sheet of 4x8

Then simply route it

Hope it help you

I got a site and downloaded some measuremnets as PDF's, I'm still deciding if I'm gonna do exactly as Street Fighter cabinet I have, or do a slighty different one.

But I'm gonna use a PC with a front loader and buy one of those X controllers.

May I suggest you to use a modded Xbox with CoinOP installed ;)

Works super well with Xarcade as well using a controller adapter (sold by Xgaming)

I'm currently waiting for my stuff to arrive from amazon and ebay so I can start attempting my 1st softmodding of my original xbox.

Maybe if I'm successful I would do that, let's see if I can pull it off!

Excellent , wish you good luck with it! :)

Otherwise, there is a member here who's doing excellent job on installing CoinOp on Xbox

Dwolf or something like that, can't exactly remember his name :/
