gilsaluki
Does anyone know if Continuous Feed Computer Paper (Perforated holes) is still available? I bought a box at Office Depot 10 years or more ago (2300 shts) for about $20. I went there today, they have multi-part paper for a whopping $80! I only need the single-part (1 pg) continuous paper. I am almost out of that 10-year box I bought so long ago. I understand not many use it any longer, but I use it for banners with Printshop, etc. Any other users out there? Love my Dot Matrix printer. Also, where to get thermal paper for an Alphacom 42?
+Stephen
I got a box many years ago from a local Office Depot. I have no clue what is available these days.
Mathy
Hello guys A lot of companies still use continuous feed paper for their printers. Most bigger office supply stores should have it. Sincerely Mathy
Kyle22
Try Staples, they may have it. If not, ask them if they can order it. As a last resort, try ebay or Amazon.
Kyle22
Some medical devices used in hospitals use thermal paper. There should be be a source for that also.
BillC
4.5" wide thermal paper is hard to find, but a quick search located a number of of sites with 4.4" wide. One problem is that most are sold by the case. I googled for "thermal POS paper" and "thermal receipt paper". I don't know whether any of the following can be used with the Alphacom 42. 4.5" wide http://www.staples.com/PM-Company-Perfection-4-1-2-inch-x-90-One-Ply-Thermal/product_1252535 4.4" wide http://www.ncr-direct.com/Collateral/Company/Paper-Rolls/Thermal-POS-Paper-Rolls/All-Other/4.4IN-x-328FT-Seiko-DPU-540-Thermal-Roll http://www.possupply.com/intermec-pb42-pb50-pb50-printer-paper-4-4-x-140-thermal-roll-paper-75-id-core-cso-50-rolls-case http://www.posworld.com/Thermal-Receipt-Printer-Paper/POS-WORLD-INC-44-in-W-Per-Roll-Thermal-Paper-24-Rolls-Per-Case-for-Star-TSP800.htm http://certek.com/vmchk/Receipt_Paper/4919_4.4_Thermal_Rcpt_Paper_-_24_Rolls.html http://www.touchwindow.com/p/StarPaper/87993930.html http://www.touchwindow.com/p/StarPaper/37995640.html http://www.touchwindow.com/p/StarPaper/37995650.html http://www.touchwindow.com/p/StarPaper/37963930.html Single part tractor feed paper is still available from the Office Depot website. These are much less expensive than the multi-part paper. http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/875609/Office-Depot-Brand-Computer-Paper-1/ http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/880363/Office-Depot-Brand-Computer-Paper-1/ http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/963975/Office-Depot-Brand-Computer-Paper-1/
gilsaluki
Finally, after 4 years of sitting in the garage, got my Alphacom 42 up and running. Had to make a PS. 4.4" thermal paper, found on Amazon for about $7 each roll-shipped, works great.
