+JAC! #132 Posted August 4, 2018 My PC is back up again. Haven't tried VS since the rebuild., Backup to Google Drive is running since 1 week and is at about 50%. The latest build is on the previously mentioned download side. Not sure if there were any issues left. @kenames99; I still have you PM feedback open. I had contacted Eric witn no feedback in some months, but now I've seen he's back on the forums here, that's good,
kenames99 #133 Posted August 6, 2018 well, seeing Eric back on the forums is good. having your pc running is good too! MSVC is very heavy and resource hungry but that is what the project uses. will let you know what happens but the last build is around early feb. 2018 iirc. thanks JAC! marcokitt2000 #135 Posted January 5, 2019 Hello Peter, Can you tell if there is a new update coming from dis6502? Version 3.0 For all atari users a happy new year and a lot of atari funs. Gr. Marco
+JAC! #136 Posted January 6, 2019 Hi Marco, thank you (and Ken) for kicking my a... from time to time. The result is that I finally updated the project to the latest Visual Studio and automated the complete build process, so I can publish a new daily version with a single click. That really motivates me, because it allows me to focus on the code and not the the process to get it up somewhere for testing. And it looks that as part of that process the new compiler settings result (finally again!) in a self-contained dis6502.exe that should require any special DLLs/runtime packages anymore. No separation of 32/64-bit runtimes etc. I successfully tested it on my Windows XP machine. I have also automated the download and install process on that machine, so and end-2-end test now is really just two click. https://www.wudsn.com/productions/windows/dis6502/dis6502.zip Looking forward to your feedback. - Peter.
flashjazzcat #137 Posted January 6, 2019 I get this from Windows Security when unpacking the ZIP: Is it likely a false positive?
+JAC! #138 Posted January 6, 2019 I get this from Windows Security when unpacking the ZIP: Cloxer.PNG Is it likely a false positive? Yes, definitively. I just tried it on another Win 10 /64-bit machine. Downloads and starts without any alerts or problems. For further discussion on DIS6052, I've created this separate thread now. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/286803-dis6502-the-interactive-6502-disassembler/
