Metal Ghost #2 Posted October 31, 2014 That's good to hear....thanks for posting! It's not exactly my typical type of game, but I'm definitely going to pick this up. First, it's simply great that they are selling it with the first game included. Very cool. 2nd, even though it's not my usual style of game it's got me intrigued, and I love showing Nintendo support when I can.
skaredmask #3 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Yeah I thought the same thing that this game wasn't my cup of tea. After playing it it just sucks you in with it's blend of action story and game play. Reminds me of those old arcade games that you use to dream about after playing them and wishing they were on console. One of my favorite things about bayonetta is how it finds to keep it self entertaining. Even though bayonetta is a sexual character it dosen't take humor from the combat an example of this is in bayonetta 1. If you have the wip equiped during a combo she changes in to a S&M mistress for a attack but its strange to say it dosent take away from the brutal finsher you can pull off. It almost seems to fit it better than most of the God of war finisher's. This is one of my favorite levels in the game. Also for you guys born in the early 80's where have you heard the back ground music before when she jumps on the motorcycle? I know this is from bayonetta 1 but it comes packed in with 2. R.Bear #4 Posted November 2, 2014 I don't have a Wii-U yet, but this game and Super Smash Bros are the main reasons for me to get one in the future. Looking forward to playing it. ^^
Amstari #5 Posted November 2, 2014 I got the Special Edition (double pack) for a birthday present. I was surprised that both have actual cases and discs. I was expecting the two discs in one case, or maybe just a download code for the first game. Both are great games! I played the first chapter of part 2 and now I'm playing through the original because I never played it before.

goldenegg #7 Posted November 4, 2014 GREAT WORK NINTENDO!! Nintendo only published the game. It's developed by Platinum Games, who generally make high quality games, with Sega acting in an advisor capacity.
Austin #8 Posted November 4, 2014 I am probably going to buy Bayonetta 2 this upcoming weekend. Although, I will likely play through the first one initially since I haven't tried it before. Part 2 is supposedly pretty amazing so I'd like to get the "lesser of the two" out of the way first. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have a little backstory before I go on to the sequel. Austin #9 Posted November 5, 2014 Went ahead and made a trip to Best Buy tonight to pick this up. No copies. Talked to an associate and apparently they only received three or so. I've yet to try Wal Mart or Target, but the guys at Best Buy said they heard it's hard to get and they don't expect another shipment on it until next week at the soonest. On a side note, a fellow member here let me know that Target will be doing a Buy 2, get 1 sale starting Sunday on all videogames. I had considered just waiting for that, but I kind of want to play the game before the weekend and am thinking I should stick with just a $60 purchase for now. Anyway, just a heads up for anyone else considering this game (or a couple of Wii U titles), Target may be your best bet starting Sunday assuming they have the game in stock.
cimerians #10 Posted November 5, 2014 I'm waiting for a sale. I love action games, my all time favorite is Ninja Gaiden Black and Devil May Cry 3.

Yrp but no one was going to finance the game so it was a great call by Nintendo to finance the game. Kinda funny that sega couldn't or wouldn't. Jinks #12 Posted November 9, 2014 Ok where do you buy this now seemingly fictional game. Online and download only? Its nowhere in stores as of now.
dashv #13 Posted November 9, 2014 I find it hilarious that the same Nintendo that censored Mortal Kombat for the SNES backed this game.
Austin #14 Posted November 10, 2014 I ended up picking this up at Target just before the weekend. They were the only store that had it in stock but they had a few copies. It seems Target is the place to go to get modern games (at least compared to Best Buy, Wal Mart or Toys R Us). They had a very healthy selection of Wii U games, along with all the latest releases. The same appeared to be the case for the other platforms as well. Heck, they even have Ouya systems in stock too. I haven't played Bayonetta 2 yet. I hear it kicks off right after the events of the first game, so I made it a point to start with the original first. Visually I can tell it's a 2009-ish release, but the game is damn-fun. Totally over the top as well and I can't help but laugh with most of the cutscenes. There's an intentional sarcastic humor involved that I've always liked in, say, the Devil May Cry series. Speaking of which, anyone who is a fan of those games needs to check out Bayonetta. It's pretty much the same style of game, albeit with some interesting gameplay system differences.
