Disk based DOS?

What disk based DOSes are people using?

 

I guess the best is probably Spartados X but as far as I know that's cartridge only?

 

Earlier versions of Spartados or BW-DOS or even OSS/A++ or DOSXL?

Mydos and sparta dos...

Also dos 2.5 on older disks.

But what is the sense of your question?

As for disk based DOS i have used primarily SpartaDOS 3.2 and Atari DOS 2.5. Between the two you can do pretty much everything. Before I got into SpartaDOS I had also used SmartDOS (which is similar to Atari DOS) for double density support. I think the double density multi boot disks I used were created using SmartDOS for the most part.

 

If you have a device capable of running it go with SpartaDOS X.
