vectrex has no picture but does power on and can hear minestorm playing

I got a dead vectrex off ebay it didn't power on at all I've already fixed that it was a dead transformer put a new one in and I'm pretty sure I got the input wires right way round as it now powers up and the sound works I can hear minestorm playing but there's no picture at all not even a white dot can't figure out what it is I have looked at the service manual and ect makes no sense to me so need some help please otherwise I'm just gonna put it back on ebay

There is a little screw at the back to adjust contrast. Yeah I know, if you replacer th transformer, you probably saw it (if only because it annoyed you when putting the cover back).

The flyback transformer of the video part might be dead. Or they are dry solders inside. Mine sometime goes like that; power on, but nothing appears on screen. Some slaps on his face solve the problem (but I need to take it apart and reflow all the critical solders).

These also need a recap too, did you replace any caps or test them with a ESR meter?

don't know what a esr meter is but I have a multimeter and one cap is leaking but I'm not gonna replace them all this thing is to awkward to take apart to do that
