IntellivisionDude #2 Posted November 6, 2014 Actually that is a lie, not really my first. I do have both steering variations for Auto Racing, both variations for Pac-Man, a few different variations of Burgertime and a few French boxes. But when i acquired the French boxes i sold the regular boxes.

Ignorama #5 Posted November 8, 2014 I think we should collect our (so far) one of a kind variants in a thread. Maybe this one, maybe another one. It would be VERY awesome to see the items and it would be also helpful to get information about that. Maybe some "one of a kind" items find a second copy, which wouldnt be bad to get more details about that. So far I think I own two unique Items with italian Melody Blaster and italian Fathom. By the way: I would exclude homebrews and serials, because everyone who owns a Christmas Carol has a one of a kind item, but its not that exciting like the chinese Spiker.
JasonlikesINTV #6 Posted November 9, 2014 I'll be posting a previously undiscovered variant soon. When it arrives I'll have to verify its authenticity, but I think it's legit. More to come...

JasonlikesINTV #9 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) You sure? how can there be new variants in 2014!!!! haha I've found three in the last year! One was the Hong Kong version of Sears Night Stalker. I just checked Intvfunhouse and one of the three actually is partially documented. The other has no mention and has never come up in previous similar discussions. Pics coming upon arrival. And i was kidding. Variations may never end! Just last night, i found a painted label Spiker!
IntellivisionDude #11 Posted November 9, 2014 Maybe i should do a video showing my variations. It really isn't much. I'm still not hardcore into it and don't go out of my way to find them. Most of them i just stumbled upon.
JasonlikesINTV #12 Posted November 12, 2014 I'll be posting a previously undiscovered variant soon. When it arrives I'll have to verify its authenticity, but I think it's legit. More to come... So it's time for the unveiling.....for the 3 people who actually might care about this . I have been working with a team of secret scientists carefully scrutinizing the data and I now believe this recently acquired item to be a newly identified authentic variant! But first, a much less impressive variant: First up is a very minor variant of the Sears Soccer box. These are both Hong Kong, but one has a sticker and one has some marker. Apparently what was written on the original box wasn't good enough. (I know, not terribly impressive ) OK, on with the show. So everyone knows that Intellivision Inc did some screwy stuff in their time. Cheap photocopy-looking manuals, bag only (boxless) game sales, black and white cart labels covering up old Mattel labels, etc. Some of these games are just ridiculously hard to find, but we know them to exist CIB (Super Series Big League Baseball, Backgammon, etc). Some random orphan items have popped up as well (Tron Solar Sailer manual, Checkers manual, Locomotion manual/cart, Frog Bog manual?). But, have you ever seen one of these? On the right, we have a decently rare USA (non-playcable) USA version of the Word Fun manual. But what's that on the left??? In line with similar Intellivision Inc era accessories it's a top stapled manual printed on a thicker stock of paper. All mention of Mattel has been removed: Here's a comparison with the other Intellivision Inc Learning Network game manual (Math Fun) I'd say this is a completely legit Intellivision Inc Word Fun manual variant. Thoughts? Does anyone have one of these?? You may notice that the last picture also includes some other rare variations. Can you spot them?
JasonlikesINTV #13 Posted November 12, 2014 So the obvious question is, "Is there an Intellivision Inc box, overlay, and/or cart somewhere out there?" A box that looks like this: ...and an overlay that looks like this: Man, what I'd pay for those
+cmart604 #14 Posted November 12, 2014 Very nice find on the manual. Certainly appears to be legit. I like it when new items get added to my want list.
+intvsteve #15 Posted November 12, 2014 Wow! Great find! Yep, gotta add that manual to a list. Need flatbed scans, too!
