Problems with visual bB

Hello I have been trying to get Visual bB set up. I followed the instructions and found the FAQ page but I am still getting the can't find default.bas.bin error when I try to compile. I found in the FAQ it says the most common problem is a space in the settings however that does not seem to be the case. I am using Windows 7 64-bit. The directory I keep Batari Basic at first was h:\bbasic. I even tried moving it to c:\bbasic see if it worked better on c drive but still the same.

 

I am using build 554 of Visual Bb and whatever the most up to date version is of Stella and bbasic. Any idea why I might be getting this error still?

Are you sure you're using the latest version of bB?

It looks like it's complaining that you don't have sed.exe in the bB folder, but if you are using bB.1.1d.reveng36.zip, you shouldn't be having that problem.

I hadn't run install_win.bat and it didn't have the path set. I have it up and running now. I don't think I have the latest version either I went ahead and downloaded the file you listed. Thanks for the info
