san-d-2000 #1 Posted November 13, 2014 Just watched an Asteroids go for 500+ US Would love to have an ET cart as a piece of history, but the way it looks now you need to have some deep pockets :-( http://www.ebay.com/sch/tbhs575/m.html?item=291285564576&hash=item43d1f8fca0&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
Albert #2 Posted November 13, 2014 Thanks for the link! Very interesting to see what these are going for.. As well as the condition of the games!
Atarian7 #3 Posted November 13, 2014 I don't understand why people are paying for that garbage. And do they come with a certificate of authenticity? I could beat up some games and claim they came from the landfill.
Albert #4 Posted November 13, 2014 And do they come with a certificate of authenticity? Yes, they do.. ..Al
+5-11under #5 Posted November 13, 2014 Wow, imagine what they would sell for if they were in mint condition.
_The Doctor__ #6 Posted November 13, 2014 I am laughing so hard that I actually have tears falling from my eyes... my side hurts! This is too funny. The dumping of product was done a few times and that made me so sad angry and miserable.... To see it dug up and selling like this makes me so happy, but it's so darn funny the prices it's going for my funny bone is out of control!

tep392 #9 Posted November 13, 2014 Looks like the ET's are going for the most $'s. Who would ever have thought that a boxed ET would go for $800 plus. edit: $1500 !!!!!!!!
Shawn #10 Posted November 14, 2014 $1000 to $1500 each on the boxed ET's. There was one that went for $600 but it looks like it's just the box and no cart from what I saw, I could be wrong but I don't see a cartridge shaped impression anywhere in the photo. Wickeycolumbus #17 Posted November 14, 2014 Crazy prices, sort of expected. I hope one of the buyers will let us know if the cartridges work.
tep392 #18 Posted November 14, 2014 Are these okay to ship in a bubble mailer? That would only help them look more authentic on arrival.
Shawn #19 Posted November 17, 2014 I wanted one of the CIB ET's but my budget for this item topped out at $

Atari_Bill #21 Posted November 17, 2014 With the money these are bringing, who's to stop them from digging more up? I know they said they wouldn't, but money has a way of changing things and making people liars. I honestly thought these would top out at $50 at most. Even then I had zero interest.
