Flashback Overlays: Intellivision Productions & Psycho Stormtrooper

Hi everyone. I ordered my flashbacks on 1st day and still have not received them. I know that the Overlay sets were delayed a few weeks and would not ship yet, but my understanding is that the flashbacks took priority and we're shipped. Did anyone get their's yet? I ask because I paid via my Visa credit card which is due soon and not really sure how to handle as I don't want to pay bill until I receive my items and also wasn't looking to cancel my order? I emailed Keith in past and he got back to me quickly but my last email has gone unanswered. I'm sure he's busy but I kind of need an answer because of how I paid - any help would be appreciated.

Pretty confident that you'll get your stuff - eventually. Keith hasn't exactly screwed anyone over to my knowledge. And there are people in the community that talk to him on a regular basis; it's not like he's skipped town or is on his death bed or something sinister. I'd start to get worried when a certain select few start saying they can't get a hold of him.

 

That being said - I think some people already received their Flashbacks.

I got an information mail today with a tracking ID. I dont know if thats just for international orders, or also for US ones, but its good to see that the process goes on.

I received shipping confirmation and tracking info today for my overlay sets from Intellivision Productions. All is good :)

Still no word whatsoever on mine. Ordered immediately on the first day.

Yeah, me too. I've emailed them twice: once the day after their webstore meltdown and earlier this week. No replies of course.

I ordered a set and was almost immediately sent an automated confirmation email.

Did you guys not at least get that? Has your credit card/PayPal been charged for the item?

Maybe your orders simply never got through..?

I'm not worried. I'm sure that I'll get my overlays and am patiently waiting.

 

Here's what's happened with my order so far:

  • I ordered on day the servers went down
  • PayPal was charged
  • No confirmation email was received
  • Got the notice that the overlay shipments were delayed

I think that the last one shows that Intellivision Productions has my order and is working on processing it (even though no confirmation email was received).

This was my exact experience as well, I am not worried in the least about receiving my overlays.

I ordered on 12/1/14 and received an email with tracking information yesterday evening. It hasn't shipped yet, but I imagine it will soon now.

He emailed me back almost immediately, stating that he did. My PayPal account was charged. Since then, I have received no communication from him whatsoever. I haven't received any of the notices or confirmations that some people are talking about in this thread... nothing at all.

 

I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

at least you got a response. I wish i had. I wanted to buy the intv ornament but never got a response. :( im not worried about getting my other 3 orders, just wished i could have bought the ornament

They were obviously backlogged/overwhelmed initially. People (myself included) have just recently been getting notified that or orders are being processed/shipped. The fact that Keith personally confirmed your order tells me that there should be no issues with yours. I'm sure the remainder of the orders will be fulfilled in the coming days/weeks. I also have full faith in Keith to make right any outstanding issues once they are caught up.

While obviously it would be nice if Keith was staffed up enough to handle a lot more communication, I'm willing to settle for shitty customer service if it means ridiculously cheap overlays. I couldn't believe it when I saw the price. If these are half as good as I think they're gonna be, I can see myself ordering several more sets just to have something to help sell off spare carts - casual players really make a big deal out of not having overlays, even for simple games. Everyone remembers the overlays, so not having them is a deal-breaker for some. And a lot of what I DO have is really mangy. Ink worn off, creases, etc. So brand-new ones will be fantastic!

Great analysis Freeweed and perspective on the entire situation. They don't cost much and will be well worth the wait!
