Are Colecovision Flashback Overlays Available?

I just ordered all the Intellivision Flashback overlays for just $12.99. It's mentioned that they're available in the manual for that version of the Flashback, so I took advantage of it. They were just $12.99 for the extra 50 overlays (actually 100 overlays; there are two of each). That's a great deal.

 

I figured that these overlays would also be available for the Colecovision Flashback too, but the manual doesn't mention them at all. Am I overlooking this offer in the manual? Can the extra overlays be purchased anywhere?

I thought I remember reading they weren't made (those overlays not included with the Colecovision flashback), but I could be wrong about that. Also, they don't fit into the original Colecovision controller, without modification at least.

coleco was never like intellivision. Intellivision had overlays for every game. Coleco had them for just a few. I think that is why they didn't bother to create the same offer the intellivision one had. Also the intellivision guys were highly involved with that production which is why it is WAY better than the coleco one and has the overlay offer.

Yeah, it's not going to happen, and, frankly, without the added benefit of fitting the original controllers, there's little incentive since you can't maximize the investment.
