Space Invaders clone seen in a UK 80's music video?

Someone help me out here. I remember seeing a music video by some British band from the early 80's where they are at a seaside carneval town like Blackpool or something and the guys play a B&W Space Invaders clone. I recall the vendor who passes out change giving them grief in the scene. Something akin to "you darn kids" etc.

There were clear closeups of the band members putting ten pence pieces into the coin slot.

Anyone got a clue what game it might have been? I have Googled space invaders clones and none of the results look like the game I'm remember seeing. And I can't remember who the band were or the song either. Not something obvious like Duran Duran but a similar group.

The invaders didn't have their iconic shapes, they were reworked to appear different but the game was definitely Space Invaders.

Still can't remember which music video it was but that was definitely the game, I recognize the marquee
