Your Favorite ColecoVision Games?

Hi all,

 

I'm curious what your favorite ColecoVision games are? Pick as many games as you like to play. Hopefully I've compiled the list correctly (I'm not sure if you're allowed to leave any section untouched, so I've added a "none" to at least the last section, which has less games listed). These are all "classic" games found from here: http://www.cvaddiction.com/cvroms.php

 

Use your own judgement... for instance feel free to assume SCE versions, larger versions than usual, etc.

 

From this I'll hopefully get to know what the best 60 or 70 games are.

Marked all my favs, Mr. Do! is my all time favourite on Colecovision, the Heist is good BUT you want to avoid the it on the recently released Colecovision Flashback as it runs about 1/2 speed on that for some odd reson killing the pace and mangling the music.

Wow what a question... I limited it to my personal top 30 among the titles I've seen the most of, but gosh there are loads of great games there.

I put in an "Other" vote for the Pac-Man prototype. It plays great, and would have been the best home version of the original Pac-Man had it been released.

Nice to see someone else likes Looping.

Bombed in the arcade but nice to play at home.

Is there a reason the list is so incomplete and relegated to official releases from BITD only? Some of the games I play the most were unreleased protos(Moon Patrol, Joust, Video Hustler) or later homebrews/ports.

The list has all the BITD items as per the ROM update project V1.2. I purposely limited the list to those to make it more manageable. Feel free to make another poll with other games listed. That'd be awesome, too.

The unfinished Frantic homebrew is superb, and a worthy sequel to Berzerk and Frenzy.
