Xmas Cart 2014 (Vectrex)

I've had a lot of late evenings this past week knocking up two festive themed games for Vectrex, "Stocking Filler" and "Save The Trees".

 

"Xmas Cart 2014" should see a cartridge release by the end of the week. A free ROM download will follow on Xmas eve.

I received mine, though it's not the USB version like I assumed it would be since I thought I ordered as soon as possible. Disappointing, but I guess it is what it is.

IIRC of the first 10 orders, 5 went to to the US, 3 to Europe and 2 to UK. They sold out very quickly though.

I ordered about four hours after the cart went up I think, and got a USB version, so I was guessing they'd go quickly.

I ordered an hour and 35 minutes after the ordering post, and missed being in the first ten.

Subscribed to the mailing list for my "last chance", and because the upcoming games look great.

You should have offered to sell ones for more money with the ports (without tree) so at least we would be able to add our own USB powered holiday decoration. I'm in for next year's 2nd release!

Who is also in for an annual holiday tradition of buying this game again with a new yearly holiday decoration?

Sorry you missed it iesposta, but best of luck in the draw. Due to time restriction, I couldn't really offer USB carts for all as it would have taken too long to get the carts ready. I was trying my best to deliver to UK/Europe (at least) by Xmas. The 'lucky 10' were the first I got notification from paypal from. Atariage was the last of 3 places I posted in (while working so there were some gaps in timing), 'vectrex fans unite' group on facebook and the vector gaming forums being the others. As I now have a mailing list set up, that's where I'll make my announcements from now on, so you all should get the notification at the same time if I do another limited edition. It'd be nice to do another similar thing this year as I'll have the benefit of starting before the beginning of December, so a bit more time to build carts.
