New Retro Game Shop Open In Sydney

Hey Guys,

I have just started a new Game Shop in Sydney called Nerdlandia Games (named after my youtube show). The motto here is to sell Retro games at the right prices. Not reseller prices, not ebay prices (though I do sell on ebay as well but just for less than everyone else) the right prices.

See we are gamers first so giving games a good home means more than over charging someone for a title. We have everything in stock from Dreamcast, N64, NES, Gamecube, Mega Drive, Master System, SNES even have a couple of Atari Lynx games in stock . Loose carts, boxed average games, boxed perfect games, rare games something for every level of collector or gamer.

Also very nice boxed and complete Mega Drive two with original instructions and even the plastic baggies for everything but the console for $120. A near new Gamboy Pocket Silver boxed and complete with instructions plus two bonus games and wall charger for $100. So much more.

No offence mate, but those prices seem pretty par for the course to be honest. Not trying to get down on your or anything, but a game like Rogue Ops for instance isn't that uncommon. I can get a CIB copy from eBay for $22 with free shipping. I've seen minty Goldeneye CIB copies for less than $60, I wouldn't consider a CIB Wave Race worth $30, not sure what games come with the N64 but $110 isn't a stunning deal, and I'm not sure how Ecco the Dolphin for the Dreamcast is rare and somehow worth $75, and $100 for a Donkey Kong 64 is pretty par for the course, if not even a little high.

 

I'm not trying to get down on you, but when you make it sound like you're all about putting the player first and beating eBay prices, I shouldn't be able to beat your prices with a few minutes of surfing eBay.

Oz is PAL country though, maybe these games are worth more in PAL form? I don't follow PAL prices so I have no idea...

If we are talking about Australian Dollar here it is worth about 20% less compared to US$.
