How do you put your homebrew into hardware form?

Recommended Posts

If a person wanted to put his homebrew game onto a cart how could this be done? The case could be 3D printed or someone may have blank shells/cases, but I am lost on how to do the chip/flast/rom part. Is there a place you can get the chips/flash and then load your game onto it and them assemble it with the case?

If you make a game that doesn't suck too bad, AtariAge might put it on cart for you and sell it in the AtariAge store, so you wouldn't have to worry about that stuff. The important thing is to focus on making the best game that you can.

I'm also happy to make one-off carts if you want a cart to play your game on a real console. You can also get a Harmony Cart to make it easier to test multiple iterations of your game. And, I'm also glad to sell you the parts you need if you want to build a game yourself. :)
