anyone service Vectrex?

I just got a Vectrex as an early Christmas present but unfortunately the joystick has issues. up and down it won't self center and only 1 button seems to respond. I don't trust trying to fix it myself but in searching the internet I cant find anyone that services them.

I know someone just recently made replacement controller stickers.

It seems they get ruined when removed (never had to remove one, but I would try Naptha [which is Zippo Lighter Fluid] and which seems to soften 99% of adhesives, dried or gummy) and evaporates totally returning the gummy adhesives strong again.
