NIAD #2 Posted December 31, 2014 I would say no seeing as the description suggests that it is an audio cable only. You could actually use an audio only 5 or 7-pin DIN Cable if it is wired correctly inside the DIN connector, so you would use such a cable to provide audio from the ADAM to the TV and then you would have to connect a Composite RCA Jack style cable (yellow jacks) to the ADAM's monitor port and the TV's video-in. With this arrangement, you would have two different cables running from the ADAM to the TV or Monitor, but it will work and I have used this setup before. I would search for a Commodore 1702 Monitor Cable that used a 5-pin DIN connector with 1 Yellow Video Rca Jack and either 1 Red or 1 White Audio RCA Jack. I have used these cables for years with the ADAM and they work great. Don't be concerned that the ADAM's DIN Connector on the back of the Memory Console is a 7-pin DIN jack, not all are wired up. It ALL comes down to how the DIN connector was wired up by the manufacturer of the cable. If you want to be guarenteed to get a 100% compatible Monitor Cable, I highly recommend contacted ADAMcon via PM or his website: http://ann.hollowdreams.com Last bit of info as it seems I have answered this question about 20 times this year in different threads. The ADAM has three Output ports on the back of the Stand-Alone Memory Console (the Exp. Mod. #3 relys on whatever is setup on the ColecoVision system) as follows: 1. RF - for video and audio output 2. Auxillary - 7-pin DIN jack for Composite video and audio OR just audio 3. Monitor - RCA jack for Composite video only You can connect multiple TVs and Monitors to the Stand-Alone Memory Console and output video simultaneously to them... probably audio as well, never tested that.
