Scooter83
I picked up an IBM 4860 Pc Jr. Going totally obscure with cartridge gaming. Pc hybrid of sorts but since it's nicknamed peanut from the project name at IBM, I've been too happy to say I'm a proud owner of a peanut.
+Spriggy
Only 3-odd weeks back into my beloved Atari 2600, after pretty much 20 years in the shed ... so obviously acting like a 10 year old (@44 years old) spending spondoolies As I'm a player ... loose carts are sweet for me. Being an Aussie, everything's PAL. Happy 2day . Loose not-so-common 'Exoset Missile' from John Sands .. Loose standard 'NightRider' .. and smiling over a PAL 'Starpath Supercharger' All for $30aus .. or approx $23usd. All work. Tested the Supercharger via my old 'Creative Zen' mp3 player. Worked 1st pop!! God bless old tech!! Edited March 8, 2017 by spriggamortis
+atari2600land
I bought this. Pokemon Puzzle Collection Vol. 2 for my Pokemon Mini. I just got back into collecting when I saw this on eBay. It's coming from Japan so it will take awhile to cross the Pacific Ocean. It's rare.

Nutsy Doodleheimer
Just bought a Magnavox Odyssey 100. Unfortunatley I have to fetch for one of the old Magnavox Odyssey switchboxes as it has the RF cable that won't provide use with the coax adapter. Plus you can't switch it out as it's soldered to the motherboard. Happy to have one of these though.

Zaineb
I bought a Sega Genesis with two controllers (not pictured) for $25 along with Sonic The Hedgehog 2 CIB thrown in for free (I've been buying most of my stuff from a guy I met on OfferUp, super nice and always willing to give me a deal). A few days later I bought my first turntable, a Panasonic RD-7673 D (I may have messed up the mode number) from 1978, with external speakers for $30. Can't wait to get home and test them out!
racerx
Not retro, but I decided to give the Switch a try, after skipping the WiiU.
bikeguychicago
I picked up an IBM 4860 Pc Jr. Going totally obscure with cartridge gaming. Pc hybrid of sorts but since it's nicknamed peanut from the project name at IBM, I've been too happy to say I'm a proud owner of a peanut. Aside from the IBM-manufactured carts, you're going to have a hell of a time finding the 3rd party ones (Pitfall II, River Raid, Microsurgeon and Demon Attack). I had all of them back in the day but that was after IBM discontinued the jr and they were all on clearance. Unfortunately, I no longer have the carts or my jr, for that matter. Also, for IBM ColorPaint, you will either need a Mouse Systems PCjr Mouse (with the special metallic mouse pad -- and is also near impossible to find complete) or a Microsoft memory sidecar with the built-in mouse port. Good hunting! Edited April 5, 2017 by bikeguychicago
Zaineb
All $20 at Savers [emoji4]. The classical album has Claire de lune, Sound of Music is my favorite musical, and the belly dance jams are the songs of my people. $2 a pop for records and $7 each for the 2600 joysticks, all in all a good day! Party on, Space Cowboy

Great quality and great product. They went out of their way to find a purple to paint the My Little Pony cartridge ( mega man 2 hack). I can't wait to see my daughter open that up this weekend for her birthday!

I picked up the following: Aquaman Fun Pack Superman Fun Pack Gremlins Team Pack Ghostbusters Level Pack On clearance for $9.97 I picked up a new Disney Infinity Toy Box Challenge set for the 3DS. I don't currently have a 3DS but it was worth it to get the Infinity figures - Jack Sparrow, Mr. Incredible, and Sulley.
evilevoix
Ive had some luck recently and would like to share my pickups. Metal Slug 2, loose; found a seller in Mexico who gave me a deal I could not refuse. This is the only Slug I have not played through or owned. Most Neo Geo Collectors argue that this version is indeed better than Slug X and possibly the best in the series. It does have a ton of slow down but I may look into having it modded to reduce the slow down. Its a good one no doubt. KOF 99, this game has a lot of nostalgic value as it was in a MVS 2 slot at my college along with Samurai Showdown II. Ive had the MVS cart for years never thought Id get the AES copy let alone for a killer price. This is my new Favorite AES game it is so balanced yet so challenging. The backgrounds changing between the rounds and the level of detail make this a top ten AES game for me. Slug X, it was $40, cant go wrong. All I need now is Slug 5 to complete my MVS Metal Slug Collection Two NES Classics. Why 2? Trying to get just one is almost impossibly unless you deal with a scalper who has stacks of them and asking crazy prices for what amounts to be a (very good) emulation machine. On the Facebook gaming groups someone posted a tip that BestBuy would make the NES Classic available at 12:00PM Central time. I had my Bestbuy page up on my PC and cellphone, both logged in and on the NES Classic page ready to Buy it Now. 1PM eastern hits and sure enough they are available. I click buy it now both on my cell phone and my PC and.. Nothing; it just spins and spins and times out. I try again and again until I get one in my cart, trying to check out constantly provides errors and you cannot add the NES classic to the basket. I am hammering incessantly on both my Cell Phone and my PC until; somehow, my PC shows that I have 2 in my basket. This is after 30 MINS of timing out futility which I imagine is everyone trying to do the same. Got them for $59.99 each and free shipping. Thanks BestBuy! I got to say that this thing rules. I love the save states. I played through Mega Man 2 and it feels great, great picture and sound and the controllers feel authentic. I may mod it soon to get the entire NES library. I would not pay scalper prices, at least not over $100.
Skippy B. Coyote
I was in need of a compact and well padded case to carry around an original Game Boy, a couple games, and earbuds while out and about; so I swallowed my pride and bought a Game Boy fanny pack today. It may not be terribly fashionable but it was the best option I could find for the job.
