Silverfleet #453 Posted January 2, 2018 Rakuten had a 20% off everything on the site promotion going on, so I bought a Switch! So far, I've only used it as a handheld, and I'm loving it. Zelda: BoTW is one of the best games I've played. I'm also digging the amount of retro-inspired games and remakes already on the thing. Next purchase is likely going to be the Blaster Master remake.

+GoldLeader #459 Posted January 19, 2018 Turmoil (2600) Crackpots (2600) Revenge of the Gator (Game Boy) Revenge of the Gator!! Right on! That to me is one of those Amazingly Addictive, can't put it down, play for weeks and weeks type of games. And I can always come back to it....Off the top of my head I think it may be my favorite Game Boy game! I owned it back in the day because my GF at the time used to own it, and told me I had to have it...I think all the stores were sold out and I had to get it through mail order, from the back of a magazine. Very glad I listened to her on that one.

pacman000 #463 Posted January 22, 2018 Correction: I did not buy Crackpots on the 19th. I bought an empty Activision cart with a Crackpots lable. Gotta learn to look out for that...

+GoldLeader #465 Posted January 22, 2018 Correction: I did not buy Crackpots on the 19th. I bought an empty Activision cart with a Crackpots lable. Gotta learn to look out for that... Or was it in a store where you could return it? Granted if it was really cheap, it might not be worth it. Can't say I've ever had that happen...I've had games that just didn't work, but not empty carts...
pacman000 #466 Posted January 22, 2018 It was a store. Sadly, I think I've had it happen once before, which makes this slightly embarrassing. Didn't return it that time, thinking of doing so this time. Bought working games from them before tho.
Silverfleet #467 Posted January 22, 2018 I've had that happen to me recently. I bought a WWF Superstars cart for the Game Boy. I got it home, popped it in the ol' gray brick, and... nothing. Took it out to clean it, and there was no board to clean! I called the store, and they took it back no problem.

Skippy B. Coyote #473 Posted January 26, 2018 Now don't go selling it in 2 weeks either! Actually keep this set! Don't you go telling me what I can and can't do with my things, mister. In all seriousness though I do plan to hold onto this set for the foreseeable future. I've been enjoying it enough that I'll be getting a Mega EverDrive X5 for it in the near future. I'll be selling a ton of stuff shortly, but the Genesis setup will not be among them.
