Anybody here have a Dragon's Lair arcade cabinet?

A friend of mine completely restored a Dragon's Lair, and even wrote the first version of Dragon's Lair to his the iOS store. I'm guessing he'd be able to help, if you want to describe what you need help with (you can PM me if you want).

I need a template for the Control Panel and Marquee shape

Just need to trace it on paper would do it

 

I'm building a Dragon's Lair / Daphne cab , I've the plans from Jakobud , but having the control panel and marquee shape will definitely help me alot

 

** I would even pay for having those templates traced

He said that at some point someone made reproductions of both the control panel and marque. Don't know if those are still available, though.

He also suggested posting on Dragon's Lair Project, "WTB: Dragon's Lair Marquee Plexi". He also said the actual cabs are easy to spot in conversions, and it would be a lot easier to restore one than build one from scratch.

Yeah, saw that control panel on ebay, but oh boy! So expensive!

 

I would also prefer to buy the real deal, but arcades are kind of "rare" in my area sadly

hence why I'm doing one from scratch

Don't follow Jakobud's plans or you'll completely fail the marquee section !

It's since YEARS I told "him" to review those awful plans but seems that he didn't.

Believe me... I have a Cinematronics Dragon's Lair cabinet (pic) and it's just NOT like Jako had drawn !!!

I'm afraid I didn't do any cabinet building, other than the front which had been kicked in. I replaced the CPO but the CP assembly was original.
