+atari2600land
I worked on this for a few hours today. I added a few scenes to it. It's now a minute long. celerythree6.bas.bin
+Gemintronic
Here's an idea if you ever want to make this a really long movie: use DATA statements to store instructions for your own animation scripting commands. You could make an engine that cranks through animations scripted though multiple banks. UPDATE: As an example you could have a four part statement like this:COMMAND PARAMETER1 PARAMETER2 PARAMETER3Say, 34 could be the command to move an actor. 1 could be the actor to move (the Celery man). 45 could be the X coordinate to move to. 56 could be the Y coordinate to move to.DATA 34, 1, 45,
+Karl G
These are so much fun, and a very novel idea! I'm thinking that this idea could also be useful if one has extra space on a cartridge to do a short intro "movie" for the game. A couple of minor suggestions for the movies: * Let the fire button pause and unpause the movie * Have the reset button start it again from the beginning I ended up playing the first one on my Atari Flashback Portable in part so that I could have a pause button. It played fine on there, too, FWIW. Anyway, congrats on your idea and its execution.
