+DamonicFury #1 Posted March 29, 2003 I just got this game tonight at Philly Classic. It is such a blast! It's just everything I like in a 2600 game... fun, simple, with a challenge level that ramps up smoothly as you play. Gotta say I'm thrilled as can be with my first homebrew purchase... and as many already know, the AtariAge label and manual is absolutely top notch! Thanks to Rasty and AtariAge! rasty #5 Posted March 30, 2003 PAL version? YES! This time it's gonna make it, and will work on the 7800 as well! And it's going to be soon...! This is by far my favorite homebrew (played through emulation). Any leftovers from Philly? I'd love to get one from you. Thanks! We'll hear from Albert once he's back about leftovers.. Anyway it should appear on the AtariAge shop after the show! Greets, Rasty.-
Mayhem #6 Posted March 30, 2003 YES!This time it's gonna make it, and will work on the 7800 as well! And it's going to be soon...! Nice... though I have gotten a 2600 now so the 7800 compatibility isn't so important now

Video #8 Posted March 31, 2003 I'll be checking the store out. I want a few games that was at PC4, but don't have the cash or time to go. Hopefully all the games will make it to the store.
SS #9 Posted March 31, 2003 I totally agree with sdamon. Space Treat is a blast and the Deluxe treatment just makes it all that much better (the sweet AA label don't hurt either!).
MegaManFan #10 Posted April 1, 2003 I totally agree with sdamon. Space Treat is a blast and the Deluxe treatment just makes it all that much better (the sweet AA label don't hurt either!). Can I third this? Yes I can! I played my copy of the game on SS' 2600 and it was so much fun it was like pulling teeth out to STOP playing just so I'd move on to test the next cart. It's simple, but quite clever and addictive!
Adrian #11 Posted April 3, 2003 What's the difference between Space Treat and Space Treat Deluxe? Is it just the packaging, or has the game itself changed at all?
rasty #12 Posted April 3, 2003 What's the difference between Space Treat and Space Treat Deluxe? Is it just the packaging, or has the game itself changed at all? The actual game has been improved with: - Scoring & Hi-Score feature - More stable graphics - 7800 compatibility and emulators compatibility - Various cosmetic and aural improvements A PAL version is on the way too! +Cafeman #13 Posted April 3, 2003 I must own this! I played the surprisingly-addicting Space Treat at last fall's Cinci Classic. I also have the ROM and even my 7-yr old played it quite a few times! I was waiting for the right time to start catching up on these 2600 homebrews, and Space Treat Deluxe must be one of my first purchases.

MegaManFan #16 Posted April 4, 2003 Chalk up another satisifed Space Treat Deluxe customer! Out of common courtesty I won't refer to the game by its initials... Whoops! I honestly didn't realize that. I think from now on I'll use the full name too.

oesii #18 Posted April 4, 2003 Ok rasty and Albert, you sold me Actually, I was going to order Space Treat a couple of months ago and for once us procrastinators are rewarded with a nice deluxe version. After helping someone get this working on an emulator a few months ago, I'm always in the mood for a quick fix of this game (thanks )
