Where to purchase 5200 to 8 Bit ports

I must not be using the search feature correctly, but that's another issue.

Anyway, I know that several 5200 titles have been converted to 8-bit like Qix, and I was wondering is there anyplace to purchase these? I thought the Atariage store would have these, but I'm not seeing them.

Most such conversions were done by crackers/hackers in the 1980s.

You can just download and run as executable files in most cases.

Nobody can really "sell" them because they weren't commercially released for the computer in most cases and no individuals have the rights to them.

A number of years back, there was a multicart called the "5200 Blast" available from Sunmark that had most of these conversions. (I have one and it's pretty nice! But a number of games only work on the original Atari 800.) But it seems Sunmark has been out of business for quite a while.

Of course, you could just get a programmable multicart from Atarimax and load it up yourself with all those conversions, along with any others programs you like. :-)
