mmcclaf #1 Posted January 25, 2015 I have two complete Complete Coleco Adam systems that I have no use for and looking to get rid of. I tried the eBay route for both, no luck (due to shipping). Anyone here interested?
AtariBrian #2 Posted January 25, 2015 Maybe it would help if you put where you are located and what price you want . If someone was close enough to meet up with you ...
mmcclaf #3 Posted January 25, 2015 I'm in Morrisburg, ON, Canada, but can ship too, and as for price, I have a rough idea in my head, but I'm open to offers.
R.Cade #4 Posted January 25, 2015 Sorry to see this happen. I had the same issue and couldn't even give them away for shipping costs. Eventually I found a vintage computer club in Atlanta and someone there wanted one. If nothing else, they make great ColecoVision game players... no composite mod needed. If it wasn't for that ridiculous idea of the printer being the power supply!
mmcclaf #5 Posted January 25, 2015 I received this through a family member, and would hate to scrap it, but it does take up that extra room. I'd love to see it go to someone that could use it.
NIAD #8 Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) Glad to see you made it over here from the Coleco ADAM Facebook page and good luck with finding a buyer as we could always use some new owners in the ADAM realm. Hey R.Cade... check out the ADAM Power Supply that is made by AtariAge member rey_1178. It's about 1/7th or 1/8th the size of the ADAM Printer and if all you want the ADAM for is to play ColecoVision cartridge based games, you don't even have to hookup the keyboard. It's a great alternative to a ColecoVision Game System and as you noted, it's Composite Video ready and a VGA upgrade called the F18A is available at a great price. ED: There's two very rare ADAM software titles in CIB form in the second picture! I know, productivity software, blah!!! mmcclaf #9 Posted January 26, 2015 NIAD, thanks, and actually, I sold Market Monitor on eBay yesterday for $125. I still have the other I haven't put up on eBay yet. Figured I'd let the games go first .
