Nesbroslash #3 Posted February 1, 2015 Ahh, the strange phenomenon of flea market and thrift store peddlers trying to sell things they know nothing about. "Oh, I've actually heard of this game, so it has to be valuable somehow!".

Crazy Climber #5 Posted February 1, 2015 I have witnessed people purchase this for $15, on numerous occasions, at a now defunct vintage game store I frequented. Everytime I saw it I wanted to just scream out "dont do it!!"
Omega-TI #6 Posted February 1, 2015 Yeah, there are some crazy prices out there like << THIS ONE >> on a USED TI-99/4A - OR - << THIS ONE >> on a Commodore 64. I guess some people have no shame in their game.

Rolo #8 Posted February 1, 2015 Isn't it the same story everywhere? Buy a car, you know nothing about, and have no clue about used cars' prices, somebody's going to rip you off. Sake to the internet, there is some transparency to value and prices now. One can't just go and buy blindly. Somebody's going to sell you a yogurt for 25 bugs . Punisher5.0 #9 Posted February 2, 2015 I remember Funco land having stacks of these. They were charging 99 cents and still couldnt get rid of them.
awhite2600 #10 Posted February 2, 2015 It all boils down to knowing about the items. People think that common games are rare and valuable because they aren't made any longer. I know nothing about art. I see stories from time to time where an individual discovers that they have a rare painting by a famous painter worth millions. To me, it doesn't look any different from the ugly painting that I saw at a weekend garage sale.
