7800 controller question

Does anyone know if using a 7800 controller would work for playing Omega Race on the 2600, providing the extra button that one needs the booster grip for?

The 7800 controller won't work, but I read that a colecovision controller will.
If you have a Harmony cart, there are hacks of the game which allows to use a standard joystick (up direction=thrust, button=fire), a driving controller or a sega genesis gamepad. The AA store has a custom cart service, so you can also have a cartridge made with one of those hacks.
