mark #1 Posted March 30, 2003 my nes either the power light flashes on and off or it comes up pink. Sometimes it comes on but the picture is distorted. I blew it out with a compressor (20psi). Anyone know what the problem may be? What should I do? I really could use some good advise.
ApolloBoy #2 Posted March 30, 2003 Hmm... I think the problem with your NES is the cart connector. Those old NESes always have that problem, so don't fret. Try to find a new connector or, if you're technically challenged, you can try getting a top-loading NES on eBay(if you have the money).

chrisbid #4 Posted March 30, 2003 go to http://www.MCMelectronics.com and get a 72-pin connector for 5.99. Youre NES will play like new.
Nukey Shay #5 Posted March 30, 2003 Ah, dear me, ma'am. Our whole job is to serve the young gentlemen and look out for them the best we can. But, I'm sure young master Mark do treat us very rough sometimes. And so he should, young Nessie. For we love it. The complete negation of our personality, the mind-numbing servility, the eighteen hour work day. And we expect no reward but a Cart in our slots. Oh dear yes, Nessy. We love it. The personal abuse is our lot, and the further back you go, the better it gets. Oh, no! The young lads are coming down to beat us! Everyone on your best behaviour, or you'll have me to answer to. Nukey Shay #7 Posted March 31, 2003 There's more than one metaphor in there, so I figured that it was a fitting quote (especially the "further back you go..." part)
