Need help with a japanese translation

Could someone with experience with japanese translations please take a look at the text attached below and give me an english translation?

 

I need this rather fast...

In the event NIAD SAN is incorrect (would be a first), I've used a Japanese friend life line...

Wow, no wonder I couldn't translate it directly; it uses some archaic Japanese vocabulary.

 

Romanized, it says, "Nanji-koso ha shin no kenja nari." "Nanji" is the archaic "you" which dano's friend translated as "thou." "Nari" is apparently an archaic form of "to be." That's it for the archaic material. "Shin" is the word which ValerieSilk's friend has translated as "heart" (心) and which dano's friend has translated as "true" (真); I think "true" is more likely the intended "shin" here. FYI, the uncertainty comes from the fact that it's written in the game text phonetically with kana (しん) instead of using either of the kanji I typed above.

 

Anyway, my translation: "It is you, rather, who is a true sage." The "koso" indicates a contrast to some previously stated meaning.

P.S. Hmm, I've only ever seen "koso" used to provide contrast, but it seems it can be used just for emphasis. So, if there is no previously stated meaning, "You are indeed a true sage."

I see it's a line from The Stone of Wisdom. According to this Japanese blog post, that's what's said to you if you beat the game's second loop (though the blog post has it in kanji, unlike the game--FYI, it uses 真 ("true") for しん--and the は particle was skipped). That blog post is effectively the only Google search result for "汝こそ真の賢者なり" (searched with the quotation marks, that is). So yes, "You are/thou art indeed a true sage."

 

A bit of trivia for anyone who, well, didn't know: "The Stone of Wisdom," which I understand is written in the game title itself, is a decent translation of "Kenja no Ishi," but the more generally accepted translation is "The Philosopher's Stone."
