C64 software list?

Is anyone aware of a comprehensive Commodore 64 list of games/software? Looking for something sortable by title, manufacturer, year etc.

GB64.com but watch out for the doubles (Heart of Africa English and German versions for example), triple entries and selfmade editor games (Lode Runner, Boulder Dash and other construction kits) and magazine type-ins.

I think Lemon64 is the same.

Lemon64 has far less duplicate entries and hacks, actually quite a number of unique, commercial games missing IMHO. However both sites will almost entirely be about games, so if you need a list of productivity and utility software, you need to combine with other sources.

Thanks guys! Will check those out. It would be nice to be able to sort and see all games by Epyx for example, or all Atarisoft games.

Both Lemon64 and GB64 allow to do that. The Advanced Search at GB64 even allows to combine multiple filters, e.g. search for games of a certain genre made in a certain year or stuff like that.

As someone who works on the GB64 project... the simple matter is, there is no set defined release list for the C64. We are constantly discovering new games and preserving them, and thus the total creeps ever upwards with each release of the database. And that's without taking into consideration the new homebrew games being released each month too.

Besides the two sources mentioned, MobyGames is also a good source to sort by developer/publisher/year/etc. like you're trying to do. There's nothing truly comprehensive, so if you're looking for something specific you'll need to look in multiple places.

Thanks Bill, I'd never seen MobyGames before. I like that there are game descriptions/summaries as well.
