Shephda #1 Posted February 20, 2015 Back in January Dale over at Lemon 64 offered up some of his left over Epyx Free Load cartridges that he sold at the Commodore ECCC 13 show. These were only the PCB because he sold out of the cases at the show. http://www.n8ie.com/c64er/epyxfl.htm Dan

awhite2600 #4 Posted February 20, 2015 Is it possible to modify a standard Epyx FastLoad cartridge to incorporate the reset, on/off switch and activity LED? If so, does anyone have a link to that info?

Give sys64738 over at Lemon 64 a PM, he's the one who did the mods.
awhite2600 #6 Posted February 20, 2015 Give sys64738 over at Lemon 64 a PM, he's the one who did the mods. Looks like the on/off and reset mods would be very simple on a standard cartridge. Both just require access to the various pins on the cart. I wouldn't be surprised if the activity LED is a mod that requires a software change.
Shephda #7 Posted February 20, 2015 I've never open up an original Fast Load cart so I'm not sure what if any mods he had to do. Maybe simple if you had he schematic of the Fast Load cart.
+save2600 #8 Posted February 20, 2015 Hahaha! Thought the subject heading was a typo… "free load"! Then I immediately pictured backdoor89 on the prowl for some C64 freebies or something.
