What do you think the best Warioland game ever?

In Warioland

-: Wario can fly, stick on the wall and turned into dragon using special hats.

In Warioland 2

- There are many secret rooms and many endings

In Warioland 3

- Power ups and the game is in color

In Warioland 4

- Great japanese songs

Warioland 2 is my favorite.

The best Wario Land is the one on the Virtual Boy.

I never played Virtual Boy Wario but based on Mobygames, it looks the same like SML3 but on Virtual Boy.

Of the Wario 2d platformers:

1. Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3

2. Virtual Boy Wario Land

3. Wario Land: Shake It!

4. Wario Land 2

5. Wario Land 3

6. Wario Land 4

7. Wario: Master of Disguise (not "Wario Land", but it's a Wario platformer, so close enough)

Wario Land 1 is one of my favorite Game Boy games. It's an amazing game with variety, lots of secrets, good graphics and sound, etc. I like WL1 more than either Mario Land game. VBWL is just as great and the 3d is cool, but it's too short; that's the main reason it's in second, it has far fewer levels. After that came WL2 and WL3, two games with invincible Wario. They're good, but frustrating; I've beaten WL2 100% twice, but I don't know if I actually like the game. WL4 is a kind of hybrid with the powers of invinicible Wario but without the invincibility. It's okay, but I found it too short, and I don't know if it knows what it wants to be, is it a WL2/3 game or something else? It's good, but not nearly as good as WL1 or VBWL. As for Master of Disguise, though... it's touch-controlled, and just doesn't play great. It's not awful, but it isn't above average either, unlike the rest of the series. Last (so far) is Wario Land: Shake It!, which was a great return to form and my favorite WL game since the first two! It looks and plays great, beautiful 2d platformer with plenty to do. It's got some inspiration from WL2-3 and 4 in it, but it's its own game, and I think it's more fun than those games.

Wario only has one 3d game, Wario World. It's kind of a 3d platformer-beat 'em up. It's fun, but short.

I don't know why, but the Wario games never clicked with me. Only the first one was OK, but by the time they got to the GBA one, I just didn't like it at all.

I hear Shake It is really good, but I haven't played it yet. It's in my collection and on my "To Play.." list.

Wario Land 2 or VB Wario Land would be my favorites. Honestly though, asking this question is tough because they're all great games, even Shake it!

Wario World for the Gamecube was great. My favorite was Wario for the Virtual boy. Just under that would be Warioland2/3 for gameboy, couldn't really decide between those.

I still have never played SML3 Wario I've never seen it for sale anywhere, but If I ever do I'll be sure to pick it up.
