What is your rarest utility/program/game that you own?

Recommended Posts

I owned a CIB copy of Arex for a while, but needed to sell it: Arex

I don't know if it was the rarest title I've owned, but certainly one of the more interesting rare titles. A lot of rare titles aren't very interesting, which is partly why they're rare in the first place.

BTW, the rarity ratings on Atarimania are for boxed copies only.

Productivity:

Letter Perfect Cart (8 on Atarimania - considering they had a >50% market share 8 seems quite high)

Spell Perfect (not even rarity rated ;))

Programming:

Page 6 by Synapse (8)

MAE Macro Assembler Editor (Eastern House, rarity not listed)

Microsoft Basic II (8, complete box with disc, classified ad buy)

Games:

Apple Panic (8 - impulse buy around 1984 - didn't really convince me, though)

Zenji (7, classified ads buy)
Altogether not that rare except finally....
Final Flight (9 - sure we had this, don't remember giving it away but still not sure where it might be stowed....)
Warlock's Revenge (9 - great title, the rest is a bit disappointing...)

If it is boxed only:

My rarest IB(Box+game only) game is Pirate Adventure, Adventure #2 by Adventure International, my rarest CIB game would be my Spy vs. Spy 1+2 combo disk and My rarest Utility would be my CIB 1988 Atariwriter.

Hello guys

Rarest software: (which I wrote myself) CDAP (a utility that runs on the 8 bit Atari which enables you to select opticals drives (connected to your BlackBox). And the sound tracks you want them to play) and CDDR (a utility to read data CD's and DVD's), which is far from finished. You can find both here.

Rarest piece of hardware: Two Atari boot CD's. Stick 'em in an optical drive (that's connected to your BlackBox), select 512 byte per sector mode on the drive, and reboot your Atari from one of the CD's.

Sincerely

Mathy

My 9's and (one 10) - all ratings courtesy of AtariMainia

And I suppose I should add the world's only copy of the Dungeon Hunt Cartridge ;)

P.S. Why does the editor allow a nicely formatted table (copy and pasted from Excel), but then won't display it properly in the actual message?
