Intellivision Trading Cards Series 2

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

UPDATE #3: All paid orders have been shipped today, shipping will take about 5 to 10 days to North America. Thanks for your ongoing support!

UPDATE #2: Firstly I want to thank all people for the pre-orders, without you the project would never had started. Now to the news: Yesterday I've received the test print and I had to fix six issues. I've attached pictures of the test print. I'll submit the final version on Sunday, so next Tuesday or Wednesday I'll receive the lot. Pre-Order phase will end on Sunday 15.03.2015.

UPDATE #1: Just a short head-up that Series 1 is still available for EURO 45.00 (or EURO 40 if ordered combined with the purchase of Series 2)

The second series is nearly done and ready for preorder. I’ll receive my test print early next week to check everything and fix any issues left. The second series with 50 cards features INTV Corporation, Activision, Atarisoft, Coleco, Interphase, Parker Brothers and Sega.

A set costs EURO 37.50 including shipping airmail letter (robust box/uninsured/no tracking/shipping time 5 to 10 days). For shipping as regular airmail parcel (robust box/insurance/tracking/shipping time 14 to 28 days, up to 5kg) you will have to add another EURO 35 (yep, shipping a parcel to North America is that expensive).

Since I have to pay the printer in advance I have to charge the amount up-front, so if you are interested in the preorder discount just drop me a PM with your Paypal address and I’ll send you a Paypal invoice.

Some additional information:

  • Coleco boxes cards: I've added 4 front box artwork variations for Carnival, Donkey Kong, Mouse Trap and Venture like in the first sets red/blue versions for Space Battle and Space Armada
  • Raise from EURO 35.00 to EURO 37.50: Since I still have quite a few sets from series 1 in stock, the production run for the second set will be lower, resulting in an increased purchase price for me.
  • Limited run: It's not a limited run, but after the first run the price will be EURO 45.00
  • Like for the first series the new series will feature the same box type (slip lid, 13cm x 10cm x 2cm). I might do a box in regular game box size at a later point.
  • Combined shipping letter airmail: It's possible for up to 3 sets, the first set costs EURO 37.50, the other two costs EURO 35 each
  • Combined shipping airmail parcel: It's possible for up to 15 sets, the first set costs EURO 37.50, the additional copies cost EURO 35 each
  • Shipping date: Production takes about 1 week, the shipping will be March 16th or 17th
  • Enclosed some low-res jpeg pictures of sample cards

Marc.

I'm in for one. Too late to stop now... :-) Thanks Mark. I like the Idea of a "Gamebox" to put the other boxes in. PM sent.

I would love to buy two but shipping is out of the ballpark for combined shipping. I guess the strong dollar is helping us...but not helping shipping cost.

I would like it to stay in the same box size for all upcoming card sets, but what about a nice box to storage all sets when they are done? :D

Marc, I may be wrong but I don't think people on here knew that you still have series 1 cards available.

If I recall you had a deadline to order then stopped taking orders, or at least that's the impression I got.

You should do a post letting people know series 1 is still available too. Or let people order series 1 and 2 together.

If I'm mistaken then ignore this.

Cheers, Steve

Thanks for this suggestion :)

The "standard" box is identical to the size of Series #1, the "big" box will be an add-on for collectors that want to put them right next to their game boxes on the shelf (suggested by several people).
